I don't know if you noticed it, but your booth was larger than Altium's!  ;D ;D ;D

Dave:

Any chance you'll either offer those rulers for sale or release the Gerber files for them?  Great Scott they look cool, but unfortunately I'm 9300 miles from Sydney.

Also, I heard a rumor that your booth is bigger than Altium's.  Any truth to that?   ;)

Add to that I see you have a full time booth man as well, though he does not speak much to the visitors.

Who visited Dave at his booth?
I was there on Thursday at lunchtime. I swear Dave's stand had more people around it than the trade stands. What does that say about trade shows?
Anyway I said the secret words to Dave, and he whipped out some rulers (in all three colours) and then asked if I wanted an LCD display. Never to knock back a free offer, I of course obliged.
I was somewhat surprised to get a handful (six?) displays
Many thanks Dave!

And yes, Dave is a real person. I managed to have a short chat with him, and he's just like the video character.
Met his lovely wife and Sagan as well.

Worthwhile going to the show just to meet Dave.
I hope they can import him to Melbourne next year for the Mexicans

The Makerbot sucked them all in!

That's because I don't play a character  ;D

Will almost certainly be at the Melb show next year, gig or no gig.

Good to meet you, thanks for dropping by!

Dave.
