If you hook CCFLs to a flouroscent tube ballast, the result will be an explosion of glass from the CFL.

They will work on battery powered inverters though, like the ones you get in camping lanterns.

Any lamp inverter that has a sinlge wire to the lamp will drive them, or you can use the power blocks for EL wire as well.

Inverters are also sold with CCFLs intended for PC case lighting (no idea why anyone would want to add EMI next to their sensitive electronics...)

I have problem if someone can help.i cracked my screen wire trace inside glass.how i fix connect again that wire? Where location i can do jumper wire? Thanks a lot before :D
