EEVBLOG #48 - the solar panel hope - solution suggestion
« on: July 20, 2010, 06:46:58 pm »
Hi Dave,

this is my first post in your forums.i'm from Israel and i started to watch all your video blogs in youtube and when i watch this video i came out with an idea. maybe you can put a full solar panel on the other side of the calc on axial that way to can get your 100mA to your lcd (see pictures)

just a quick search in ebay and look what i found
http://cgi.ebay.com/6V-100MA-0-6W-small-solar-panel-diode-inside-/320561796187?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Gadgets&hash=item4aa2f8d45b
i admit this fairly big but i'm sure that you could find a better one smaller and more efficient.

good luck and keep up the good work

Ido

Thanks, but have already considered that but it's not really an option.

Dave.
