you may find your sewage lining up the wrong way....

This could be a devastating weapon in the wrong hands.

Great, they can sell it to the military, like Batterisers!

Or like the solar roadways with their Para-drop solar road modules  :-DD

Combine all the products - drop solar roadways that produce 800% more energy because of Batteriser, and traffic flows 25% better because the surface is fully aligned by use of the Z-Energeia formula on the surface. Maybe apply it to the drop containers as well so it takes 25% less energy to fly the plane carrying them to the drop zone.

Oh hell, if we're going to the absurd - they should probably use Z-Energeia on the fuel tanks and fuel lines of the plane so it used 25% less fuel - either saving costs or allowing longer missions without refueling.

I am sure they will sell a lot of them in the US, because there are many Americans who actually believe this stuff.

There was a company several years ago, that sold a CD disc to upgrade your CD player to a DVD player.
Many Americans believed it actually worked! This tells a lot about how the average American citizen thinks :)

Here is another example: there was a story on the Internet that it was possible to make your Apple iPhone waterproof by downloading a software update. Many Americans believed the story, went ahead in downloading the software, and actually tried to soak their iPhone in water. Of course they all ended up with a broken phone. Some Americans were afterwards even questioning, if they downloaded the proper software.

In Europe, nobody buys stories like this! Even people without a university degree, or even without a high school degree... because even those people are smart enough to judge that stories like this are bullshit.

Is there such a big difference in education or average intelligence between Europe and the US?

I can't believe that there are actually people out there that believe stories like this.
Even a kid in primary school will most likely not believe this stuff.

Basing an assessment of comparative national intelligence on a couple of unquantified anecdotes is not a compelling demonstration of superior European mental acuity.

I don't think it's a reflection on mental acuity.  I believe it more readily explains the differences in being able to survive in differing social and economic environments - that is, it's easier to 'get by' in the USA without knowledge of technological principles.

On behalf on all Singaporean engineers, I'd like to expressly apologize for this product... This is in no way affiliated with, or endorsed by, the engineering community in Singapore.  |O

I'm pretty sure we all realize the closest an actual engineer got to this bullshit product was when Dave opened their web site and no actual engineers, from Singapore or elsewhere, were involved in the creation of this farce.

It's mind boggling that something like this can even make it to market.  Freaking hilarious though.

Wonder if you can get down to zero internal resistance if you rub this stuff on capacitors or batteries.   :P

Why? Total production outlay must have been about $200.

I'm talking more about the legal aspect.    Getting it certified, getting stores to sell it etc.   I don't think you can just make snake oil and then get stores to sell it for you.

"Certified"?  :-DD

Have you ever looked at how much woo-bullshit crap is on sale in stores? Seems like you can sell whatever you like as long as it doesn't instantly kill people.

Completely bogus, useless, crap "products" make it to market all the time!!  This isn't surprising in the least (except for the fact that all the stupid people fall for the obviously bogus, time and time again...)  There is no "certification" required for a product like this...  Just create a bottle / can / box of snake oil with a claim of up to 18,000% more shine flavour or whatever you want and sell away!

Sure you can!  It happens ALL the time!

I'm sure that's exactly what guys like the Batteroo boys were expecting to have happen.
Any underpants gnome can explain this business plan for you:

Phase 1:  Collect Underpants  (Make bogus product)
Phase 2:  ? ? ?                      (Get some clueless store to carry said product)
Phase 3:  Profit!!

There is more to this than meets the eye... yes it's true that by themselves the Z-Energia wipes will not lower your power bill, but that is because there are pieces of the puzzle missing!

The real secret of true energy saving comes about by using not only the Z-Energia wipes, but also a Batteroo Batteriser, an Energy-Saving Box, AND the Z-Energia 1.0 stickers (very important)

I will explain the details here:

  • First, you start by opening your Energy-Saving Box and soldering your Batteriser across the terminals of the PFC Capacitor.
  • Next, you install a Lithium AA Cell into the batteriser, and switch the batteriser on.
  • Third, you quickly (before the electron field alignment chemicals dissipate) take a 4-pack of Z-Energia 2.0 Wipes, open them ALL at once, screw them into a ball, and insert them into the casing of the Energy-Saving Box, before putting it back together.
  • Then finally, you must cover the casing of the Energy-Saving Box (except the LEDs) with Z-Energia 1.0 stickers (The most important part).

After all these steps are done, you will have in your hands, your very own OVER-UNITY DEVICE.
Upon plugging this device into your mains circuit and switching it on, you will actually reverse the electron flow in your household and begin to GENERATE energy.

You will be amazed as before your eyes, your electricity meter reading actually gets LOWER.  :-+

Oh yes, they most certainly do.

The NHS in .uk, which firmly declares that homeopathy is BS that doesn't work, still has two hospitals which provide it.

Enterprising Australian company  http://www.EarthingOz.com.au, Starts out about the dangers of EMF and then explains the science - apparently harmful negative ions from the earth. Was not aware of that risk, thankfully, there's a way to protect myself now I find out about this danger.

That video is quite amusing: a sort of object lesson on "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing". Of course, when he takes his shoes off under the power line, his voltage to earth is lower, but the current through his body is higher  :palm:

People are generally very resistant to challenges to their beliefs, and using evidence has the paradoxical effect of strengthening those beliefs.

I wonder what they'd make of the wireless anti-static wrist straps ;)
