GeekHack/Deskthority forum/wiki integration
« on: October 12, 2015, 12:09:14 pm »
Hello.

I see there's lots of messages asking the same information or giant forum lists that would be very nicely summarized in one place.

What about using wiki to create articles of them? Users would collect these forum threads and tag them, then summarize the information.

Seriously, the forum needs wiki integration to amend this.

GeekHack and Deskthorithy use use it and works quite well.

Maybe Simon and others could persuade Dave to try it:

- It could make EEvBlog forums a better place and avoid the message overload of repeated questions.
- People can upload projects with all the details to build them.
- Information could be properly categorized and ordered in a taxonomic way.
- Information quality in the forum could rise up dramatically. It could eventually become a primary source of information about electronics.

Regards.
