This is a completely non-technical subject, but I received my BM235, and have thus far been very satisfied with it - great little meter!
My one real complaint has been that the support leg, attached to the rubber casing, is floppy - to the point of being almost cheesy. (Sorry, just following the 'No BS' mantra... ;-) Turning the knob while using the support leg results in the leg/case joint flexing terribly, and the meter sort of running away from you as you're trying to change the switch position.
A super-low-tech solution that's working well for me is to drill two small holes in the support leg, then thread a short length of monofilament line through the holes, tie it off, then make a loop in the other end, and screw it down under the rear case screw. (ala attached picture)
This really stiffens things up, and it feels solid now when using the meter on its support leg. (about 99% of my use) The string is short enough, that when the leg is folded up, the string just stays between the leg and the case, so its not in the way at all.
Anyway, not sure if anyone has already done this, but if not, and if you find the leg too floppy, its a 5-minute low-tech fix! (sorry, that's about the extent of my ability to meaningfully contribute to this community... <:-)
