Missing video files.
« on: October 01, 2011, 10:13:28 am »
I have noticed the video files from 1 to 127 seem to be missing from the new server.
Was this part of house keeping or lost somehow?

Regards

There's also #101 where embedded video does not show up (Firefox 7, Adblock disabled).

Any chance the missing videos will return?

The video files have always been there.
http://eevblog.org/video/

If you are talking about the RSS/iTunes feed, there is a maximum limit to the size of the RSS file, so it will only show the last NN posts.

That ftp list works.

However, the problem is with http://www.eevblog.com/episodes/

For example, if you go to http://www.eevblog.com/2010/07/11/eevblog-99-100-multimeter-shootout-extech-amprobe-bk-precision-ideal-uei-uni-t-part-1of2/ the 'Download' link points to http://www.eevblog.com/podpress_trac/web/866/0/EEVblog99-480x272.m4v and produces a "File not found' error.

Same appears to apply for videos 1 to 127.

Oh, ok, I know what went wrong.
I switched to using eevblog.org/video instead of eevblog.com/video around that time.
Will upload those files back to the eevblog.com server.

Dave.
