New 4k Camera test footage

I just got a new 4k camera, a Sony HXR-NX80.

I uploaded 4k footage, 1080p footage in both XAVC S and AVCHD and my original Canon HF G30:
All shot with my usual lights and shooting conditions, direct upload, no processing.

Any particular reason why you went with NX80?

Any reason for going with a camera with a permanently attached lens instead of something like a GH5s with user replaceable lenses? Is the ability to change lenses not particularly useful for your uses?

One 4K camera I find really neat is the new Blackmagic that's supposed to come out soon. In particular how it supports recording directly to an external SSD.

Correct.
That and the fact that video cameras are just more usable in almost every aspect compared to DSLR's. There are many reasons why videos cameras still exist and are used by almost everyone who shoots video professionally on a daily basis.

Any particular reason why you went with NX80?

Quality in-built mic on top. Easy last scene review. Removable XLR rig. 60Mbps 4K mode (lower the better for my use). Stupidly fast autofocus. And a whole host of other small reasons.

How do make room for the camera when shooting overhead videos like this? There can hardly be any room for yourself ;-)

Video ok but audio is left tilted with pan pumping effects to center/right, something thats tiresome with headphones
in both Q1 videos. Proper external wide stereo mike will solve that i suppose.

What has really saved Sony from oblivion is its professional video business, specifically the cameras. They are simply top notch.
