th nasty may just be refferring to the negative feedback part :)

As it is in the "LEARN" section, I'd say that "nasty guy who only gives negative feedback" refers to stereotypical image of Master's/PhD advisor :-DD But hey, it's often true, from a point of view of one who's on the learning/writing/passing side of course :)
Safety note: Don't put all your enriched uranium hexafluoride in one bucket. Use at least two or three buckets and keep them in separate corners of the room. This will prevent the premature build-up of a critical mass.  ;)
