[FS UK] Broken Tektronix TDS2012B - SOLD

Hi,

Yet another item in my inventory that needs to go: a Tektronix TDS2012B scope.
Please note this scope is DEAD.
I repeat: this scope is D E A D (the main board isn't showing any signs of life), so don't expect a working device.
When powered on, the screen backlight turns on (as you can see in the second picture), but that's it.
However, the other components (rotary encoders, power supply, LCD) look to be in good nick (although, with no working main board, one can't really tell).
So, this would be for anyone looking to re-use parts of the scope to rescue another.

Asking price is £50, shipping not included.
Due to the rather fragile nature of the device, I prefer local pickup from Thatcham (RG19) area, but I might consider shipping.

So, from the day I got the scope, I noticed the main board showed clear signs of (rather bad) re-flowing (by the previous owner, I am guessing).
I then checked voltage rails and other non-intrusive things like that and came to the conclusion the main FPGA was likely dead or hadn't been re-flowed properly.
Finally, in my desperate attempt to resurrect the scope, I sent the board to a professional re-flowing service, but the end result was the same.
In conclusion, I would say there are close to 0% chances of reviving this scope, unless you've got some other components from another 2012B.
Thus my posting of this as a spare-parts donor.

This is a rather old post, but just found the scope in my pile of things and thought I'd give it another try at finding it a new home.
