I noticed a few weeks ago they were getting out of some of their larger transformers, and grabbed a couple of 18V x 2 / 160VA toroids for cheap (~$16 each IIRC) here in Brisbane. Pity the buggers didn't have the mounting hardware for them...

I actually intended to drop into Jaycar Sunshine on the morrow as miss 14 is 'doing' a science project and I need to pick up a motor. If they've got one of these lying around I'll pick it up for that price.
