As usual all the cool stuff is in the US, in Europe is just one sad uninteresting device.  :'(

I think you have to make an 400$ usd reserve on the credit card ???

Yep  written on the website :

Credit Card Authorization :
A $400.00 USD authorization deposit is required to participate in this event.

Q:
Will they refund the difference ??? or simply make an deduction for the next auctions ??
Will it be kinda lost if you don't auction again ??

I registered to sent them questions ?

They refund the difference at the end of the auction.  You will get your full $400 back if you don't buy anything.  I have bought a couple things on their auctions and have participated but not won things in many others.

I don't know if this will be of help but on the last few of their auctions I have just cancelled the sign up process at the point where they want to take payment but have still been registered to bid.

This may be because I have participated in other auctions before they brought this upfront payment requirement in, but it is probably worth trying.

As a danish guy, this was a bit interesting to me.. But I can't even make out the model number on that HP spectrum-analyzer-thing unit.. Looks like options for I and Q input, so maybe a generator of some sort? The Tektronix arb gen is a bit interesting,  but I can't justify putting 200 USD on the table for all the other stuff that I'll never get rid of anyway.
