WTB a defective Philips PM2521 multimeter
« on: July 27, 2017, 10:43:46 pm »
I have just acquired off Ebay a Philips PM 2521 multimeter that the couriers managed to almost completely destroy the front panel to the extent that it is really only being held in place by the ribbon cable and the range switch selector shaft.

The meter seems to function correctly and checking against other known good meters seems to be in calibration. I was looking to try and fit some LED's around the LCD screen to improve its readability, my eyes are not what they once were I'm afraid. I'k concerned that once I start stripping the panel down to gain access to the LCD screen that the panel will disintegrate on me.

So I'm looking to buy if the price is right a good front panel or a whole defective meter as parts donor if the front panel is in reasonable condition. Can anyone help me out here?
