For Sale - AN/GRC-106 military radio set

An extremely rare AN/GRC-106 military radio set, tested working, with complete all-original accessories. This set has seen active field use however is in good working condition, with only superficial paint wear. No significant dings.

 Frequency range: 2.0 to 29.999MHz
 Transmitter power: 200 Watts.
 Modes: Upper-sideband, USB compatible AM, CW, FSK, Narrow FSK.
 Primary supply voltage: 28 VDC

Due to the bulk and weight (71Kg), only personal pickup is really practical for this since I don't have the means to construct an adequate shipping crate. Location is Sydney NSW.

If anyone is interested I can open it up and take photos. The units are very modular and rugged, easily to access everything. The cases are completely airtight (waterproof in fact), so the interiors are spotless. The transmitter uses a dual fan system, with a heat exchanger between the internal and external air circulation paths.

As a ham, I have to say that is sure is a beautiful rig.    Way out of my price range though, maybe after the kids are out of school and I am retired, but not now.

Mate - I am interested in the AN/GRC 106 - I can use it in our museum.

I have the contacts in Sydney who would be able to collect it and then ship it to me.

I am also looking for old teleprinters that were used by the Australian Army in the 60 - 80's
