Free - Germany only - IDE HDDs from 2 GB to 14 GB

I have seven used IDE 2 GB to 14 GB drives, tested OK 5 years ago,
for anyone in urgent need of such a small drive. For students I will
even bear the shipping cost. 
Will low level format and retest each drive before shipping. Anyone?
If there is no interest, these drives will meet my 5 kg hammer.

Reminds me of my first computer in 1991. It was a 80286, with 1 MB of memory and a 40 MB hard drive (plus a 5 1/4" floppy drive). And now we throw away multi GB drives.

If I were there in Germany, I would take a  few of these drives, even though I have an i7 that I work on with a TB drive, I still have a P3 with Windows 98 SE installed, although I have plenty of HD space on it.

Sorry, I'm not the music making type - rather in fact a music recording type

Salvaged the very strong magnets. Strong enough to seriously
hurt your fingers upon crushing.

Will eventually stick them under a plastic bowl to collect small screws
removed from repair items. Will save me from creeping along the floor in search of
dropped screws etc.

Come to think of it, the situation is even worse.
We today are merrily discarding mobos with cheap sound cards on them which in
every aspect are by a factor of at least 10 better than 10.000 EUR professional
tape recorders (Telefunken M15 and alike) some 30 years ago!

Back in the BBS days we did competitions in throwing old HDDs as far as possible at our BBQs. The cheap 5-1/4" Seagate SCSI drives were great for that.

Yep, I remember that. And in front of quite an audience too.
But today nobody seems interested in such an event any more.

Anyhow. Just finished gluing the magnets under a plastic dish cut
from a piece of clear plastic packaging. You know, the type where
you have to cut off the edges all round quite forcefully with scissors in order to
gain access to the contents. How I hate such packages.
