FS ( UK ) Thinking of selling my Flir E4 ( upgraded )

Hi

I have a year old Flir E4 which has been fully upgraded. It is in great condition and comes with the case, charger and battery. I am thinking of selling it but not sure what the going rate is for one of these? What are people prepared to offer?

Hacked or unhacked, they seem to go for about £300-400 on eBay if they have been used. That'd certainly be what I'd offer for one.

I think Chanc3 is being slightly pessimistic or hoping for a good deal.

I think 2nd hand price UK - eBay- would fetch 600-800 in good condition for the hacked version. O

I've sold a few on here, usual deal half list price plus VAT. Tough crowd on here, I wouldn't expect to get more than £400 for a year old one.

He's probably right. We sell the new Flir's and right now you can get the next model up for the same price as the E4.

Well I bought a Flir One thinking it might do for my needs.  It is smaller and seems to measure okay but if the E4 resale value isn't great I shall just keep the E4. The E4 is a nice piece of equipment.

What firmware is on your latest models, I4E?

To be honest, I'm not sure. We ship them straight out as soon as we receive them from the manufacturer so I haven't actually looked at the firmware version.  I'll check and come back to you. If you don't hear from me by Monday can you ping me a private message?
