I often wonder where to get specialist glass. I believe labs get it made by lab glassware guys. Never found one though.

I saw them in my local woolies.

I reckon they'd make a good bell jar for degassing potting compound.

I doubt that.

They may have the right basic geometry for that, but I would expect the glass will have sufficient irregularities for a failure point to show up really quickly.

Haha, the latest ElectroBOOM had me wincing!
A bell jar guard would help, but yeah, I still wouldn't subject a Woolies one to any decent pressure differential.

Yeah, I figured the same. Some heavy PVC sewer pipe is better.
