Customer return, pump runs and you can change the speed with the knob, no hot air and no LEDs. No nozzles.

£20 shipped UK only, hardly worth shipping this outside the unless you're mad.

SOLD

At that price it would have been worth buying even if you already had one!  It's one of those things that SHOULDN'T be too difficult to sort out too.  Might be worth a post on the repair.

Ironically that was partly why I bought it, I'm trying to improve the diagnosis and fault finding skills, made more challenging when detailed circuit information is scarce to non existent. I always find myself watching others doing diagnosis such as Dave or 'Mr Carlson' with a sense of 'I wish I could do that', I therefore take on little projects, this is such a project.

I'm no expert, not really touched electronics in 30+ years - it used to be a hobby even then so it could take a while.

Good luck with it and post in the repair section so we can all have a look and offer our opinions :-)

Dozens more of these in an unknown state of repair to sort through. Lots ‘rattle’ because various bits come loose inside, not had one with a failed heater element though. Which surprises me.

If you'll do the same deal for me I'll have one  :-+

EDIT:  I’m now in the queue for one.

When you are ready, I will be interested in two. SWMBO has a birthday soon and she likes hot air.

I would like to buy 2 as well when you are ready. Please add me to the list. Thank you.
I have no experience with repairing this but I hope I can sort it out.

I’ll be honest, these are right down the bottom of my list of crap to deal with.

There will be more as soon as I run out of things that make money for me... these don’t!
