For UK based X-Ray imaging fans.

I own two complete Faxitron MX-20 High Resolution X-Ray systems and I have decided to sell one of them.

I will be selling a system that comprises:

MX-20 cabinet X-Ray unit fitted with the 120mm x 120mm (2048 x 2048 pixels) digital imaging array
Mini Tower PC with Faxitron interface card fitted
Official licenced Faxitron software loaded and running
LCD monitor
Mobile trolley tower
Faxitron MX-20 User Manual
Software User manual (on hard disk)
Spare Hard disk with Faxitron software installed
Spare PC motherboard ! You should not need it, but it is included.

All of this system is original as supplied by Faxitron.

This is the system that produced many of the images shown in this thread......

The MX-20 cabinet system is is fine order and has low hours on it. This was my first unit and she is a beauty.

I have had to think long and hard about selling this unit as I doubt I will be able to get another as good and complete as this unit and used unit prices have shy rocketed. A smaller DX50 unit I configured for a seller, sold for £2500 a few months ago and this is the sort of Money and higher that you can expect to pay for a system, even if not as complete as my unit.

The MX-20 system cost £27K and the 120mm x 120mm high resolution imaging array cost £25K as an option.

How much am I looking to raise on this amazing system ?

Well I can be persuaded to sell it for £2000.

I cannot ship this as it will likely get damaged and it is difficult to pack. I am located in Milton Keynes and this will be a collection sale. The whole system did fit into my Nissan X-Trail with the back seats down. The trolley dismantles. Collection also permits me to demonstrate the system to the buyer.

The MX-20 cabinet is designed to fit on a desk with the PC along side. The mobile trolley is convenient if the unit needs to be easily moved. The buyer does not need to take the trolley if it is not wanted.

OK, anyone here interested in my System ? If so, please let me know.

Please remember, this is collection from Milton Keynes so sadly no shipping options available.

Update - I may consider transporting the system in the X-Trail to a mutually convenient rendezvous if not too far away.

This is very tempting, but fortunately ( ;) ) I don't have both space for it and it is too much for me, way above the threshold for the items in category "exotic rarely used gadget".
