SOLD (UK) Raspberry Pi 3 Model FAULTY ONES
« on: October 20, 2017, 02:24:45 pm »
Time to weed out the bad Pi's again...

Just tested another batch of returns, got 15 that fail tests.

1 x PSU connector missing
2 x Dead no red light
2 x Dim red light
4 x Red light but no HDMI output
1 x USB faulty
2 x No wifi
2 x Reboot during startup
1 x Stuck in VGA mode

£75 plus shipping please?

Also got 12 Pi 2 that seem to boot, nearly all faulty non-latching SD card slots. £50 plus shipping or £40 if you buy them with the Pi 3's

Shipping £5 UK, £10 EU, £15 elsewhere.

ALL GONE

If you don't want to bother replacing the card holder, I found that a rubber band is good enough to hold the card in place  :)

RPi2 slot repair is easy - just push (squeeze) gently slot housing with screwdriver in the marked place. I've tested this on few pieces.

It's not a repair. You just forcefully push metal pin into already broken plastic guide.

Something that will last more than a few SD card insertions.

Ah my comment was for the " it's not a repair" dude. Repair , to fix, mend, piece together.

Sorry, I only sell faulty ones in bigger batches. I think that's fair given the wide variety of faults.

Yep, if you buy 2-3 pieces you might be lucky to receive all with dead CPU. Also most of the issues need hot air to fix or is tenfold easier to do rather than with just a soldering iron (SD slot).
