I have a Tektronix Rackmount unit which has a 1730D and 1720 SCH units in it. The 1730D powers on however I have no idea how to test it. The 1720 SCH does not power on however I have not tried to fix it. I got the unit like 5 years ago dumpster diving at the apartment I lived at. I assume someone already tried to take it home and fix it and just threw it out.
Could be something really simple to fix, bad power switch or similar. Have not tested and don't have any multimeter/test leads I trust to stick in the thing (I suppose 1mm clearance is good for something rated for 500v? Licking the MM board before testing might help too.)
Located in Houston, Tx and looking for local pickup/sale because the cost to ship it would probably exceed its value.
Would like to get $60 for it.
Would also love to trade(With some cash on the side if needed) it for an oscilloscope or a good multimeter w/test leads
