OK, so I received this as a gift a few years ago, but funnily enough... I've never used it!

http://www.drivemocion.com/

It's the original version.

Incidentally though, may be worth something as a hack project?

Comes with an IR transmitter you stick to your dash, and there's an IR receiver on the back of the display which goes in the back window.

Completely pointless, in my opinion!

£15 including delivery and brand new batteries?!

Don't ask a question if you aren't willing to listen to the answer.

Would not help, saw a taxi yesterday drive through a red light, slow down to pick up passengers in the middle of the intersection, then turn across all the oncoming traffic to go back up the one way street to pick up another then turn again to go through the red light again, all while talking on his phone with one hand holding the door closed.

Think i would prefer a loudspeaker that played out "Indicate" in a deep ominous voice, doesn't matter where in sydney you are, it is like everyone forgot which stem on the driving wheel was the indicators 5 seconds after getting there full license.

Well we will see if Dave can "mod" it to that version............

though it is about the right size to replace a CRT on the scope he will drag through the mud.

will be fun to see, i'm sure dave could mod it to say EEVblog, have the finger on it or cycling through a load of other messages using a small uC or arduino board, its about time we saw him actually making something :-+
