I had a chat with MCSTestEquipment. They indicate that VAT and shipping are not included.

If the prices are ex VAT and postage then they appear to above the new Batronix prices at least for the Rigols:
Batronix price for the Rigol 832E is 1855Euro (ex VAT) = £1652 and for the Rigol 832 is 3195 Euro (ex VAT) = £2847 and these have the full three year warranty.

That makes the prices more reasonable, they are below Batronix but not by a very large margin:

Given that the Batronix prices include free shipping they are about the same with no question of warranty being less than 3 years.

I am not particularly pushing Batronix, but they provide an easy to find yardstick of current prices. For UK buyers it is more convenient to purchase from MCS but there is no financial incentive and no options to go for the tracking generator (presumably) and your initial advert which states "the balance of the manufacturer's warranty" implies that this will be less than the full 3 years.

Please correct me if I've got this wrong. I am interested in buying a Spectrum Analyser and being in the UK would always prefer a UK company.
