hello friends from russia + ukraine
« on: January 29, 2019, 06:23:57 pm »
I want to buy for my collection of old test instruments a
ВК2-6 вольткилоомметр    :)

found that in a test eq. company there but they ask for a very lot of money.
bec. I am living in germany, there is also the postage, the "import sales tax" and the Zoll for Mrs. Merkel, impossibel to me I am not Donald Trump.

So, if you find anywhere this instrument to a price what I can give, please help me to get it.
It can be in not working condition, for restoration.

greetings
Martin

This has nothing to do with Mrs. Merkel. Just by stating this you are disqualifying yourself and showing that you are vulnerable to populists (and probably already affected  by them ... very dangerous ...).
Also each and every other country does have import VAT and import tax for ages. That is pretty normal and needed to protect the economic system.

I am not interested in any kind of politik and I will not talk about politik, not with you, and not with any other here.
I need an old russian test instrument, - but not for 650 $ + tax - , nothing else. If you have one for me please let me know, thank you.

You will be paying VAT regardless, no matter if you buy it in Germany, EU, or non-EU. Don't try to weasel out of it, you'll just piss off your customs department (in fact, you'd be committing a crime)

VAT (regular or import) is paid on every good sold or imported to end users in the EU. It's inevitable, and just think of it as an additional income tax. If you want to avoid it, start a business that needs that equipment.

(Imagine the gigantic tax loophole if you could just import something from abroad and skip VAT. The only reason e.g. the US doesn't have apparent VAT on imports is that their taxation system works differently)

Customs rate on multimeters is 1.1%. Really not that big of a deal.

Since there's no public pricing info in former USSR, you can fake custom declaration and they will have no means of verification.

Pay with Bitcoins.
You do not know European customs :). They want to get a proof i.e. payment slip and link to the website / copy of the mail conversation. They know their customers.... it is not that easy anymore.
Of course you print fake mails to them and hide payments like paying the major fraction with bitcoins and an additional small fraction by Paypal. But if they catch you then, the government will call up forgery of documents. You are in deep trouble then. Indeed, best would be to own a business. Then you get everything VAT free (well you have to pay it first, but you can claim it back).

Sorry, you started with it by saying "I am living in germany, there is also the postage, the "import sales tax" and the Zoll for Mrs. Merkel, impossibel to me I am not Donald Trump."
Well, imho these little pinpricks towards Mrs. Merkel and unnecessary subordinate clauses are indeed a political statement. You should have left them out as Mrs. Merkel is not responsible for the import VAT; it has been there for ages and will be there forever. And you know that pretty well, you just wanted to show us your general frustration (or whatever) with the government. But, no future government (no matter what color red, brown, black, yellow, blue, green...) will ever change this.

I have an offer from the company where I found that in the net, they ask for 650$ + postage.
That is overkill for a 48 years old multimeter what is only fine for collecting + restoration.
I will not cry to pay 100 for a thing like that, it can be in not working condition.
There was a related instrument only Ohm-Meter, this I like also very much !  :)
Name / Type = E6-5 , see http://www.leningrad.su/museum/show_calc.php?n=540

I would love to own one of them for my collection.
btw I cannot read + understand russian typings, so I will not find this instruments in the web.
the "K" in BK2-6 ist not a K, they write

ВК2-6

Yes, there are also many cheap high-end phones, yachts and other incredibly affordable high-end and luxury stuff, it's a real tragedy that the PayPal doesn't work there and the banks are stealing their money, the good people only accepts just Moneygrams and Western Unions transfers, I've heard that they have now in power a really  >:D person, Dracnea or something similar that steals everything.

Somebody wanted to buy something, paid with western union and only got this message, not sure what it means, google translate seems inconclusive, maybe you can help with the translation:

"Se numeste teapa nai mai loat pana acum teapa? Fortza steaua forta steaua hey hey hey"

But I guess it's OK for today.

 Cheers,

hello,

both devices are VERY hard to find unfortunately. i have never seen it in real life, but only on "sfrolov" site.

As i understand old soviet naming system BK2-6 means:
B  - Voltmeter
K - Combination (in case of BK2-6 voltmeter+ohmmeter combination)
2 - no idea.
6 - model number.

E6-5:
E - R or L or C or RLC meters
6 - ohmmeter
5 - model number

This meters have very interesting display construction. It's projection display with one lamp per digit (= 10 lamps for one place) and one for comma place (i.e. 44 lamps + one or two sign), ton of relays for switching.
