KJDS appears to have a tardis, I PM'd him over the past week for a specific bit of kit, an Anritsu MT8802A w/opt7, a comms test set plus SA, turns out he had two, I bought one and it arrived the next day. Sweet.

I am currently looking to find ( free of course ) any old fluke or other DMM front cases that are of no use, badly damaged. I took my fluke 25 apart and cleaned it and sorted out the display, so now I want to test replacing the perspex front with a new one but want to try it on some old broken one first.

That is just mean, I dont have the "capacitance" to make a decision of that magnitude. Have you got any shiny beads to tempt me with ? . Tautech tried to tell me siglent kit comes with them but I didn't fall for it.

Neither of us can afford the Au$132 postage cost (plus $?? 'they just make up the charges' import duty) at the moment. Frustrating.

I think I need to slow down on buying kit, ...maybe after i get a function generator and a decent soldering station. I will then have a half decent set up. Of course there is then storage and parts to get....
