I spent about $150 total:
-Tek K475 equipment rack (one of 3), missing some hardware but nothing I didn't have (one of 3)
-A dozen assorted Pearson CTs, some unopened
-A working HP6030A ($20!)
-Handfuls of brand new 1 m BNC coax cables (Pomona, so decent but not premium)
-Pasternack BNC attenuation set, 1-20 dB
-half-dozen solid state relays, new
-some HP fiber optic cables
-about a dozen Bud boxes of various sizes, mostly new
-A 500' box of shielded 2-wire control cable.
-misc switches, etc.
-some giant heat sinks
It was an estate from a ham radio operator and major hoarder. The person running the sale had a good idea of what most of the stuff was. I probably bought about 1% of what was there on the second floor only (I heard that the first floor was practically impassable). Most of the test equipment was fairly priced for the big pieces - maybe half ebay realistic prices for individual sellers, no warranty, but you could plug it in and there were scopes and signal generators to check stuff out if you wanted. But a lot of bargains on smaller stuff and power supplies (although I think he winced a little on the HP6030A when he realized what it was - but the deal was done). Lots of new parts and RF stuff (VHF and below), including some VHF tunable cavity resonators and big antennas, and spools of cables of many types.
Thanks again. If you are ever in the Albany-Schenectady area, I will buy you a beer or 3, or at least a coffee if you don't drink beer.
