LFS: Good (cheap) supplier of screws

I'm looking for a supplier who has a lot of screws and fasteners for sale. I am hoping to kit out a few containers with screws, nuts, and standoffs, just to have a bunch on hand. I'd want to order at least 100 qty of several types of screws, probably 1000 of commonly used ones. I'd spend a hundred bucks or so on this. Perhaps a seller would offer a discount for buying a lot.

Can anybody recommend or have you had a good experience with a particular seller (ebay, aliexpress, other) who specialize in hardware?

Not too useful to you I'm afraid Evan as it's the wrong side of the pond (unless our exchange rate has got even worse than I think it has), but in the UK I've been pretty pleased with Cassells at http://www.ciponline.co.uk/ .... no connection, but they do happen to be down the road from me.

I use http://www.marshallshardware.com/  these guys quite a bit.    But, then, I'm all over the map in terms of hardware.   Screws for plastics are hard to come by and I have a special supplier if I need it.    Small metric is yet another animal alltogether.

Then there's https://www.fastenal.com/, mcmaster, and mscdirect.

Marshals has always been fast.  Fastenal has some odd stuff and there is a local branch  mcmaster is exceptional too.  With mscdirect, they only charge shipping once unless it's a drop ship item.  It's usually next day for me.  If I don't want to pay for postage, I can order a small item and pick it up at the local non-stocking store.

Yes. Their order process is a bit arcane, but they are sending out quotes really fast and overall the whole process is pretty painless.

EDIT: Since they are in silicon valley, I always just pick up the orders myself, so I don't know how their shipping works.

What sort of sizes?  If you're looking for really small stuff (#4 and smaller or so) then you're probably going to be looking at a different place than the more standard available-at-hardware-store varieties.  If I remember right, I got my last batch of miniature hardware bits from fastener-express.com but it's been a while... could have been someone else.

I have used  www.microfasteners.com  in the past for small fasteners and stainless cap screws.   Somewhat of a niche vendor but good service. They are based in PA.

This would have been ideal, but they seem to have messed up their catalog of 7/16-24 socket head bolts. I need 3 and have not been able to find them.
