Tek 2465B op and service manual wanted
« on: December 15, 2018, 12:47:25 pm »
Further looking at my 2465B and perhaps I need a service manual.

I know they are available as downloads, but what sort of price is a real genuine paper copy by Tek?

According to Ebay they actually sell for between $30-$60 each.

Thanks.

I really don't like ebay, looks like a future job.

Artekmedia's scans are good and cheap. Then print off the schematics on A3 paper at a local printshop.

For example, a screendump of their 2445b manual being displayed at 200%

There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.
Glider pilot's aphorism: "there is no substitute for span". Retort: "There is a substitute: skill+imagination. But you can buy span".

The FREE scan on the Tektronix site is pretty good.

Having said that, there's nothing like a paper manual. I have yet to see a scan that can match the original.
They do come up on ebay. They go from US$30 to US$200.

The usual selling price is $30 to $50, with always a Buy It Now for $200, sucker bait.
