Same as previous posts, and for me, I put this exact string at the company name "*** PERSONAL USE ONLY / NON COMPANY ***" and other company's related info with "NA". 

Not sure about you, personally I do not consider this is as a fraud or dishonest to TI, and so far I've ordered many stuffs there with that credential without any problem at all for "years", for sure my account already survived and passed so many sales audit cycles if internal TI does have it.

Thanks got me a CC2541 BLE SensorTag device *G* as I have all the development boards already. That was $25 total.... Now lets see if they will ship it as the Bluetooth BLE apparently have export restricted encryption....

I picked up a Tiva C and C2000 Piccolo launchpad for $5.00 total.  So that puts my TI inventory at
1. MSP430 Launchpad (when it was $4.30)
2. Stellaris Launchpad
3. Chronos 430 watch
4. Tiva C Launchpad
5. C2000 Piccolo Launchpad

The MSP430 comes with 2 dip chips so you can pull them out and put them on a breadboard if you want.

The MSP430 and Stellaris Launchpad can be programmed with Energia which is a port of Arduino for those chips.

Also noticed that the Stellaris Launchpad has been marked down to only $7.99. As far as I can tell, this chip (though maybe not the LaunchPad board) is identical to the Tiva C one, just renamed since TI is abandoning the Stellaris brand. I only found this out trying to find *documentation* for my existing Stellaris board and finding it all missing and links to the Tiva processor. Anyway, they're similar enough that maybe you want 3 instead of 2 .

Nope, the newer Tiva C launchpad is using higher spec core TM4C123GH6PM which is equivalent to LM4F230H5QR (older Stellaris naming), which has the dedicated hardware based quadrature encoder interface (QEI) and PWM modules, while the old Stellaris Launchpad is using the dumbed down LM4F120H5QR which do not have these. 

You will not get these below highlighted so called "Motion Control" sections (QEI & PWM) at Stellaris Launchpad and thats the reason TI slashed the price of Stellaris Launchpad, also they are "ALL" still using non final (RTM) chip.

Edit : Almost forgot, the Tiva C mcu USB supports full Host/Device/OTG modes while the Stellaris's mcu does not.

Yeah and about 1/10th the price of an Arm based Arduino Due and 1/2 to 1/3 the price of other Arduino boards, it gives you a lot of processing power in a small space and cost.

And about the same price as an STM32 discovery board and about half the price of an LPCXpresso board. I think Atmel might also have a cheap ARM + programmer dev board. Why would Arduino be the reference for cheap dev boards?
