It’s bad manners to jump into someone’s sale thread and drag it down. Let buyers decide for themselves.
It's good manners to inform other forum members about the market and how the offer relates to it, if you ask me. I don't think this is the right place to make offers without them being scrutinized.
Lets tale a look at the purpose of this subforum - quoted from the index page:
Buy/Sell/Wanted
List your electronics related stuff for sale, or link to others. Wanted ads go here too. Only dealers who are valued contributors to the forum community are welcome to post here.
Its obvious that user jotrinelectronics is either a dealer or represents a dealer as an employee, so unless he makes an on-going positive contribution to the rest of the forum, answering questions without shilling his component sales and other services, we'd be entirely justified to report him as a spammer and let the moderators sort it out.
However rather than nuking him from orbit, he's getting a fair shake, and a number of members have taken it on themselves to show that his pricing isn't particularly competitive, which will help him set future pricing levels - feedback that is impossible to get from one's customers as they by definition are the ones that paid the current price.
