Universal through-hole & SMD prototyping board
« on: December 22, 2012, 10:54:48 pm »
I could never find a general-purpose prototyping board with all the bits I wanted, so I designed my own. Now in its Mk.3 iteration :

Very nice looking boards. Easy to butcher to make small patch pieces as well.

Yes - Most of the ones I've used so far get cut at least in half, hence the second power jack.
2mm and 1.27mm pad rows also often get used to make pogo-probe programming  leads.

Great stuff, I'll be buying a few. When you look at the price compared to other options it's very attractive (most prototyping boards I've seen, and we can buy locally in oz are a similar price and really rubbish in comparison.)

Mike, do you intend on keeping these for sale on an on-going basis? Or is this just a one off?

Cheers

I primarily do them for my own use in batches of 100, so yes they will be available, apart from any time period between when they start running low and I get round to doing any mods for the next batch.

Real nice board. I really hate when those odd-pitch connectors that won't fit to any available proto board and one has to bend the leads or drill extra holes.
