Wanted Fluke 700013 IC
« on: August 20, 2017, 10:12:07 am »
The 700013 IC is a quad mux used in my broken Fluke 8840A  I would like to buy a few of these...but I'll settle for one or two.   The only source I could find want's $150 for a set of 10.  That's more than I paid for the meter.

Hi! I believe I'm on the same boat... were you able to find it?

You could try taobao https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.16.62cf28205KRDpq&id=551897644701&ns=1&abbucket=7#detail
Most likely it will be salvaged from discarded equipment.

No, I started ordering from taobao and other Chinese sources many years ago. Certainly before I registered here in 2013. But unlike you, I generally consider it as a last resort rather than a main source. Because there are and you will certainly get a lot of crap/counterfeit components if order often enough. Even if components are genuine, I several times experienced like 1-20% of them being faulty.
