WTB Winnipeg Canada 20Mhz Scope ( Closed )

Looking to purchase a working / with probes 20MHz Scope in Winnipeg Canada. Shipping costs on an old scope would be to much money.
Just started out learning electronics using Arduino and breadboards.
If anyone knows where to go or who to call in order to purchase older Scopes here that would be great as well.
This scope would be for learning.

I don't think an old scope like that will fit in a flat rate box. Shipping from US to Canada is probably going to be more than the instrument is worth these days but it's worth checking.

Physical manuals are hard to come by but sometimes they can be found online. For a basic oscilloscope you don't really need the manual for it anyway, they all work more or less the same. The manual for any similar instrument will tell you most of what you need to know.

A decent set of probes often costs about as much as the scope, though for 20MHz you don't need anything fancy.

Probes will be like 20 usd, regarding manual you can look YouTube 'scope training lessons, if you are talking about service manual it's not work to fix it if it breaks in a few weeks-years just get a new one.

It is a Hitachi V-212. It has two cheap 100 mhz probes, no manual.

First pass at using shipping calculators looks like it would cost $50 to $60. That's using made-up numbers, but it matches pretty well with what eBay sellers are asking for shipping costs.

I guess I don't need to wait to upgrade to a digital scope, I still have my 2465B - I can do without a backup for a while.

Shipping cost put the scope outside the price range of how much I have for a analog scope.

Will post a different add later to see if a scope is available in the same Province, so I could drive and pickup.
