Where are you based?  This will help you to find something cost effectively.

Are you looking for a prop?  Or something to repair for use?  If so what are your needs?

I have a very nice Tektronix 500MHz Digital scope that is having intermittent issues powering up.

Sorry, I should have been more specific.
I am in Houston, TX, and am looking for a really cheap analog scope that I want to turn into a curve tracer as part of a training course.

My advice would be to look for Heathkit 0-12 or the like. Barring that, or if your wanting newer, you can find really cheap scopes on ebay, especially if you are looking to turn it into a curve tracer.

I have a couple of candidates.  One is a Heathkit IO-18 5 MHz recurrent sweep scope which was working the last time I powered it up,  The other I was given and I don't recall what is is.  I know it does not work.  I drive to Houston a couple of times a year to visit friends, so if you're patient the cost would be $0.  I'll check on them tomorrow.
