WTB: HP 5065A Rubidium Frequency Standard

I'm looking to buy a HP 5065A Rubidium Frequency Standard. Please send me a PM if you have one and are interested in selling. I'm located in Canada, so obviously North America would be a plus, but I'd consider looking worldwide if the price was reasonable.

Hi. Unfortunately the price of a good 5065A has continued to climb. Unless you have deep pockets and are quick to snap an offering up you will be out of luck.
Late SN (prefix 2816A) went recently for $4000.00 and within 24 hours! Mid SN units can go for $2500 to $3200.
Bargains do still happen but you need to know what to look for before you plunk down the $.
Ideally the optical unit (big cylinder inside chassis) should be the unpainted silver metal. Also the Quartz oscillator should be the 10811 style retrofit. If you can get good PIX make sure there is no corrosion from a dead battery option.
If you can find a bargain I can help you to do an initial test and instruct on how to align it properly.
