BOUGHT!!!! (WTB IR SOLDERING STATION)
« on: November 13, 2018, 07:46:09 pm »
As wrote in the title, i'm looking for an IR soldering station, i prefer a chinese one (cheap one like ACHI,IRDA and so) because i would try if it can replace my loved  hot air ZM station, but before i would try this machine as said, then buy a more expensive one after some time
Thanks in advance!

I did a search for this. Used they go for about $3,500.  If that is your idea of "very cheap" I definitely need to make more money  ;D
For my 10th Birthday I got a Fisher Price oscilloscope!

BTW, if you are a new operator, it is no need to buy the IR550A, since it can set the soldering curve; buy a used IR500A is preferred, just heat to setting threshold, then will stop heat, also the price is lower, I think 1K USD can buy a good one, but the shipping cost is quite high from China to Europe.

I try to find a used ERSA or similar for you, almost all IR BGA rework statation are copy the IR500A or IR550A, just tell me which one you like, and tell me the budget. any way, ACHI product is good, but the company already closed many years  (the company in Beijing China), the ACHI product used many imported components, as you know, in China, good product will not have long life, only the cheap and rubbish product can be longer here. all the new ACHI product in market in NOT from ACHI, I also ever used several ACHI products, IR-3, IR-PRO-SC.

BUMP
After some weeks of use i'm almost sure the IR rework station is what i need to do the job......untill now i've done some work i never done with hot air station, so  i can invest some bucks more than before, and maybe buy also a medium price IR station like Jetronix,Jovy system or similar price stuff!
So, let me know if you have one of this to sell, to be more precis i can't afford thousand euro more to spend but as i said i could put some hundred euro more!
Thanks in advance
