wtb: mc68332's TPU manual

I am looking for a paper copy of the TPU's manual for the MC68xxx series.
(Motorola, Freescale)

umm, it might have been included in M68332EVM and M68332EVS kits  :-//

Here is what I recall from 20 years and 3 jobs ago:

There was the regular 68332 hardware manual that included a subset of the programming manual with all the peripheral registers, configuration, etc.

There was also the regular TPU manual, probably the one you are looking for - this was okay, but the TPU is strange and complicated, and there was something we couldn't figure out. After working with FAE's (remember those?) we learned of the existence of the more detailed internal TPU manual from Motorola. After a lot of begging and cajoling we were able to get a copy of that one. It was very detailed and cleared up issues we had with the regular TPU manual.

The last link is what I believe is the regular TPU manual we had. I couldn't find that internal manual on the NXP web site.

yes, exactly! But I believe the internal copy was provided with the EVM-kit (an old catalog says it was 900 USD in 1995)


I have already successfully created a TPU-device, but there are some obscure aspects that need to be clarified, and the manual, the internal copy, could help  :D
