WTB: ST Micro STV1601A bt.656 Video Serialiser IC
« on: December 12, 2017, 07:36:20 am »
I am looking to make a small stock ST Micro STV1601A hybrid ICs, they take a parallel CCIR656 digital video data stream and serialise it, they were commonly used in broadcast video products that had SDI video in/out. They are a bit notorious for going bad and i need to replace at least two of them to keep a couple of vintage Quantel Ramcorders operational.

ideally i would like 4 new-old-stock parts if the price is right, i'd be happy to pay $10 each for them + post

They are a 25x25mm PGA ceramic hybrid, they were also made by Sony as SBX1601A but from what i understand the Sony made parts were even worse for reliability than the ST parts
