WTB/LFS Older transistors (2SC1583 & 2SC91)
« on: February 20, 2018, 12:26:32 pm »
I'm looking for the following:

  • 2SC1583 F (Preferbly suffix F but G works as well)
  • 2SC2291

Willing to buy anything from 1x to 100x

Got a bunch from various sources (ebay, utsource, various chinese sellers) but almost all I got were fakes  :scared:

    I'm looking for the following:

    • 2x 2SB647 C (Must be suffix C and not AC)
    • 2x 2SD667 C (Must be suffix C and not AC)
    [/list]

Strange requirement considered they are identical except AC has slightly higher Collector to emitter voltage. Most likely they were made with exactly the same process and then binned, where AC is higher grade.

Yea, I tried with the AC version and they did not work in the circuit I was intending on using them in.

      So I'm still looking :)

Then the issue is with circuit, not transistors. If you think that transistors are so precise devices that C and AC would makes so much difference that circuit won't function, you're clueless. There likely is more deviation in parameters within C suffix than their average value differences between C and AC.

That might be the case that the issue is with the circuit, I don't really care tbh since its going in to an exact replica of an 80s synth :)

Also, BUMP, only looking for 2sc2291 and 2sc1583!

Will you also use exactly the same part numbers for resistors and capacitors so it becomes exact replica?
