Interesting USB cable:
https://www.musicdirect.com/cables/nordost-tyr-2-usb-a-b-10mFrom the description: "Tyr 2 USB 2.0 will lavish you with premier soundstaging, consummate dynamics, bountiful detail, and stunning precision when you listen to music.". ... "Finally, before terminated with fully shielded gold-plated, connectors, Tyr 2 USB 2.0 is cut to mechanically tuned lengths, lessening internal microphonics and high-frequency impedance resonance. "
I wonder how they do the 99.99999% OFC (oxygen free copper) mentioned in the specifications. And could I return it or sue them for deceptive marketing, if it is not that pure? Looks like the best you can buy is
99.99% pure. Would be a bargain for 99.99999% purity.
Of course, I know it is all bullshit
You won't here any difference with any USB cable, unless you have extremely bad cables, like some of the USB cable you can buy from China with very thin cables for the power wires and you power the external device with it. Probably they buy a good $10 cable, print their label on it, and then sell it for $1299. And when someone wants to sue them, the company might disappear, and next day a new company with the same address will sell it again.
