I'll never beat Dave's Gossen collection, however.  I'd "settle" for just one!!!

I've only got 3!, and the best one crapped its cal during a firmware update!
Well, ok, 5 if you count 2 old ones they sent me, as in really old, designed for future destruction testing...

Dave.

Nice man-cave tekfan! I see some other cool stuff in the background: Revox B77 and lots of professional audio tapes.
And a model railway. Oh, I see, that's printed on the carpet  8)

Boys and their play-things...  ;D

576 - drool!!!!!   I've got a 577 and two ancient 575s.  (EDIT:  Jerri has a 575 as well, do I get any "cred" for that?)  I have a 7000 series, but other than that, just some ancient tube (valve) scopes.  None of mine are in that kind of condition.

Nice Reel-to-Reel in the background.   My dad says I can have his Revox, but I don't have a place to put it.

And he's even got Nixie tubes!!!

Compete with that???? I got nothin'!!!

@tekfan: What's the scope sitting on top of your curve tracer? Its screen size is super sex!

You get twice the cred for using two tube based curve tracers.

Treasure your dad's Revox. These days they are unimaginably expensive. I got mine when they were still reasonably priced and converted it to 15 IPS. Now it has a frequency response flat to within 0.5dB from 20Hz to 20KHz. For some reason I found that the A77 has an even flatter frequency response.

That's a Tektronix 5111 split screen storage scope mainframe. You can store a waveform on the top half of the screen and compare it with the one on the bottom half. You can also erase each half individually. With the right plugin you can achieve sensitivity of 10 uV/div. I've got a dual delayed time base plugin, a standard dual trace vertical amp and a curve tracer plugin. Best thing is the ultra ultra sharp trace, big screen and NO fan. Worst thing is the 2 MHz bandwidth. Still plenty for audio work. Oh... no wait... it isnt. Audiophools can hear well into the GHz range.

I like to call it the Sensitive Slow Sweep Speed Split Screen Storage Service Scope System :o

They went for $512
To anyone here I wonder?

If they all work then the resale value individually would make for a nice return.

$512 is what I expected.  I tried to send an email to the seller to see if I could bid, but they have it setup not accept non USA ebay accounts.

Not bad - 21.33 each.  I expected a bit higher, based on how much people get for them in one-of quantities.  Someone's going to make some money.

That will sell very well at 40, and even at 60.  I'm no expert about the used Fluke market, but I wouldn't think it would take too long to get 50-100 each for these.   (If they all work)  I'm not sure about the effects of market saturation - how long one would have to spread these out.  I've found that sellers who "string them along" without mentioning how many they have do better.  Otherwise, people bid less on each, planning to "get the next one."

These are very robust meters - I've seen examples with all 5 or so MOVS blown to heck that were still "in spec" after I changed them all.  They aren't as physically rugged as the new -2s, I suspect the plastic gets brittle from age.

No, I didn't buy them - I've got too many 27's as it is - not enough stairs!

I've been watching these bumblebeez. The going rate is about +$80 NOS, but they're not hotcakes. Whether the market got saturated is to anyone's guess

In the Australian ebay market here, you could get well over $100 each for them, no problems.
Assuming they all work of course...

They finally might be showing up on ebay now?  This is the 3rd one from the same seller in the last 24 hours.
