It's a "symphony of engineering".
Short video, not a lot of detail but some nice PCBs in the middle.
Also interesting: The batteries are 20% bigger than the venerable 18650 but have a new chemistry and hold 50% more charge.

My OCD hates that big chips doesn't quite line up, and why is there an Electrolytic missing on one of those sections...tesla quality control?

The missing cap is more likely physical damage by the disassembler, either during removal or later handling. You can see one of the pcb pads appears to be ripped off the board, and the other clearly used to be attached to something.
