Try one of these with the lid off.I limped for more than a week.
At least you guys don't have to deal with the UK's biggest hazard.I've taken the liberty of hitting Google images for Caltrop. Spot the odd one out, lurking there, waiting to murder your feet:
Ouch!I have a strict no-shoes policy in the house, so over they years I've become very careful about not dropping pointy objects (or locating them and picking them up, if I do).
I also forgot to mention I went for a true widlarization of the guilty component (a LM339).
Oh, that's very important! Once those things have tasted BLOOD, there's no telling what trouble they will cause you!Jon
Here is the most awful caltrop invented by mankind (attested to by any parent at 2am):
I have three children. I can walk on Lego like it’s the carpet now.
I am not quite the master of such feats yet. I still have to ascend past “UK plugs” and “small Chinese double ended felt pens that come with activity sets which shatter when you stand on them and stab you up like a drunken pikey at a seaside resort”.
Forget the 8 pin dip IC, I had one of these:The have 0 give or bend, they go right through the heel to the bone...
Try a DIP package stuck into the back of your shoulder. I saw that movie and it did not turn out well.
