The most painful part of stepping on LEGO part was always the moment thinking of possibility of destroying that part.

My wife stood on a sewing needle that snapped off. The surgery to remove it was pretty tricky. (I did suggest using an MRI to pull it out but they wouldn't go for it.)

Not? what a shame!
If there was a needle in my foot i would turn the MRI scanner all the way up. Just for the show.

I have gone in the other direction and have a strict slippers (or safety shoes) only rule ;D Break it at your own risk  >:D
Also, leaving hot soldering iron on the floor is a bad idea...
Too bad.... I smell it before feel it...

Wait till you step barefoot on an Australian piggyback style 3 prong power plug facing up...instant PAIN PLUS, free skin piercing,  and bruising for weeks !

I swore, and swore it would never happen a third time    :-[
