Electronics Aust. April 1974 - P.R.I.C.
« on: October 22, 2018, 12:20:18 pm »
I wonder how many people wrote to complain that their P.R.I.C. disintegrated only a minute into the brine soak? I can imagine some audiophile eager to discover what it sounds like  :P

  • I like vacuum tubes. Electrons exist, holes don't.

Really amazing that we forget about these breakthroughs from previous generations. I've printed out the page on a color laser printer and I am presently doing the saline soak phase. I don't know if I should use Kosher or table salt though, I'll find out.

The power output of this opamp should be enough to drive my 1980s Bozart single speaker stereo system.

Very well done.  That may even beat the old Signetics write-only memory ad.

If the saline soak is too harsh on your P.R.I.C., perhaps wine?

Dick Smith is my kind of guy.

I remember the time he had an "iceberg" towed into Sydney Harbour.  Classic.
