Forum suddenly very slow?

Over the past day or two I have noticed a very slow response when opening posts to read. It can take 30 seconds or a minute to bring up the page. Is anyone else noticing the same thing?

Oddly, browsing the thread listings is fast, it is just opening threads or posts that is slow.

I have seen some "database access error" too.

10Mb/s too and EEVBlog is the only one that is slow. No ISP problems.

Seems fine my end.
No change to the regular daily bandwidth on the new dedicated server.
So your guess is as good as mine?
Do these dedicated servers have to be reset occasionally?

Since I started this thread it's going much faster, perhaps back to normal. Whatever was happening yesterday and this morning seems to gone away.

My guess is that the problem was (it's back to normal for me) somewhere along the high bandwidth links between Europe and USA. If someone still has problems then it'd be a good idea to type tracert eevblog.com in Windows command line (or traceroute eevblog.com for Linux) and post the results.

Perhaps something with HostGator instead of my actual dedicated server box?, as my stats show no change from the norm.
I'm now hosting TheAmpHour files on the dedicated server which gives it a spike every Tues afternoon (Sydney time) when everyone starts to download the show. But apart from that, a pretty consistent load on the server.

If this was something around the servers then everyone would experience the same kind of slow down. I vote for just some particular problem with links between large ISPs.
