How can I change the chinese UI to english UI of my Tekway DST 1062B?

Hello,

I need to know how to change the UI from Chinese to English or if possible both languages selectable in the menu? Could anyone help me?

My scope is a DST1062B Tekway, Firmware 2.06.3(110225.0).

I tried to make a FW dump as explained here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=1571.msg53336#msg53336
But I am not sure that the scope did this dump. Remember, there message boxes are in Chinese only.

110225.0 is fine, then this is probably not the newest hw1007, so you can download this here

which is fw 110531.1 for Tekway 1062B

and this here

Is it necessary to make a FW dump? The FW you gave me is saved on my pc.

depends .. imagine the NAND flash is broken (which might happens), what you will do then ?

The firmware itself is only one executable, bunch of text files, but within he NAND flash is the whole Linux OS,
manufacturer device dri´vers, additional manufacturer aplikations, the factory calibration (which match only your DSO),
the serial number informations and so on.

So did it make sense to have a backup of all these things? You decide ...

Hi! I'm an electric engeneering student and a new member of this community. 
I have discovered this blog/forum some months ago and since then I have watched the Dave's videos and read a lot of topic in the forum.

As you can imagine I have just bought a Tekway DST1062B in China. The problem is that i don't know how to change the language from chinese to English.
I have read about all the topic for the 200MHz hack and I have tried alot to enable the English language but i haven't find the way.
Can you please suggest me how to do?

The firmware of my scope is 2.06.3(110225.0) that i think it's not exactly the last one .

I did it! 
At one point I thought I bricked it because it remained locked on reboot with RUN/STOP button on yellow.
Then it take it power off for some minutes and it restarted correctly

Now I have some problems with the firmware dump

With the specific DST1062 dump utility i obtain this result:
"Firmware update failed, error: 0xf7   Illegal update files detected"

With the universal dump utility i obtain this result:
"Firmware update failed, error: 0xfe   No upgrade files detected on USB device"

I will retry tomorrow....

Someone have any idea how to do the dump (DST1062B 110531.1)?
