Why are my smilies broken

For some reason when I put a smiley on the forum it comes up as script when I drag it onto the page and stays as script in the posting, any ony have an idea as to what is going on, I use Chrome and have checked in the setting for anything that might be at fault but cannot see anything.https://www.eevblog.com/forum/Smileys/default/bangheadonwall.gif

Thanks that works I dont know why I started to drag them its just got to be a habbit. |O

I had the same trouble with video, learnt that I need to use the link with ?watch  = xyz123 to use them properly, otherwise they just got converted to a link.
