Geoblocking is a pain. One of my kids lives in Japan. Another in France. The one in Japan is stuck with Japanese Netflix. Neither can watch the highly rated Hard Quiz, or any other Aussie ABC TV show.
I have unlimited Internet here. Upload is only 10Mbps, download is 120 Mbps. Is there anything I can do to stream the shows to my kids? How else can they bypass this geo-blocking crap without being sent to gaol?
I can understand China and North Korea geoblocking because they don't want their people to know the truth. But I cannot see why western "free" countries should be geoblocking. Sure the the pommies fund the BBC, but Aussies fund the ABC. The poms and Aussies should be able too share our shows abroad without encumbrance.
