King of Swedden installs solar-cells on largest castle!
« on: April 19, 2018, 11:04:00 pm »
Yeeeeeeeeees! The climatge change king! God lordy all you folks who dont have royalties.  :-DD
The interesting thing is that in the article the King thinks about installing solar roads around the
castle to, he had read somewhere it was a success!  ^-^

King on roof to install them himself dressed in armani suit and royal blue helmet, not often
you see King mix with regular underpaid blue collar workers. 600panels at 170MWh equaling
12% of the castle yearly consumption..

The King (French origin) watches pingpong in olympics with wife left (German origin)
who seams reluctant to his shouting while the lady below dont enjoy it at all!

FAIL! King does not wear helmet properly. In the background to right you can see his majesty
the king Moon rocket as his attempt to crusade to conquer Moon for King and his sheeps.

End of Sweddish royal news...

Not much to say, the poster pretty much covered all bases perfectly  :-+

One can only assume the coffers must be running low, and advisers may have recommended the king of sweetden mix it up with the rabble a bit

to drum up some waning royalty business  8)

King of swetddetten got this by his royal undercasts (gray mass of taxpayers) kings never pay it took gov 7
years to decide if or not, it was his 70year birthday present from some semi obscure govdep, would the king
consider rent out some of his fabulous rooms to some of the many homeless in Stockholm?

Solar courtyard! You read it here first!

As for the roof installation; did they really install panels on the section of the roof that is angled to the north? It makes me think that the whole thing is a popularity stunt, and I wouldn't be terribly surprised if the panels weren't actually hooked up to anything.

So the castles energy consumption average nearly 4MWHr/day -- that's about 70X the typical home usage.  Not the most elegant arrangement of panels and only 12% of total usage, looks more like a token, but every little bit helps I guess.

Maybe there's a Bitcoin mining operation hiding inside. :)
Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.

Old buildings a horribly inefficient. The royal palace at the Dam square in Amsterdam only gets heated when it is in use (which is not often).
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

But the royal castle is not a typical home.

Indeed, making a royal palace (castle? where are the towers and other fortifications?) shaped like a squared ring with its high surface-to-volume ratio seems the best way to actually maximize heat losses.
